| A limo is shown pulling up to the arena as a few lucky fans wait to catch a glimpse and possibly even an autograph from their favorite DUW stars. The fans watch eagerly as the limo creeps to a stop and the driver quickly scurries out and makes his way over to the door. The driver opens the door and steps aside as Alexis Luciano emerges from the limo looking peeved.
“What’s with the swarm of retards? I didn’t ask for a damn welcoming party. Get security to get rid of them.”
Limo Driver-”But Miss, they’re not hurting anyone. They just want autographs and-”
“Does it look like I care?”
Driver -”No but-”
“Hey did I tell you to argue with me? No, I didn‘t! I told you to call security and get these losers out of my sight.”
The limo driver pulls out his phone and begins to contact security as Alexis watches on. While they’re distracted, a little boy steps forward out of the group of on-looking fans holding a pen and a piece of paper. The boy who looks to be around seven years old walks over to Alexis who looks down at him with her nose wrinkled in disgust.
“What the hell do you want?”
Little boy-”Can I please have your autograph? You’re one of my favorites.”
“No.”
Little boy-”Please?”
“Are you deaf? I SAID NO!”
The little boy backs away slowly as Alexis scowls at the sight of the crowd in front of her. A short while later, three security guards approach the crowd and start to clear the area. Alexis smiles happily as the fans are escorted away under much objection. After the crowd is cleared away, Alexis continues on her way back into the building as the limo driver follows closely behind, carrying all of Alexis’ bags. After they reach her dressing room Alexis turns and looks at the driver.
“Thanks, oh and by the way… YOU’RE FIRED.”
The driver places Alexis’s bags down on the floor and looks at her in shock.
Driver -”What? Why?”
“When you work for me you are obligated to do as I say and nothing less. In addition to that you are not supposed to argue with or disrespect me and yet that’s exactly what you did. You questioned me in front of other people and that isn’t only disrespectful but it’s also a little embarrassing. So for that I’m kicking your stupid ass to the curb, go look for a new job.”
The limo driver looks away sadly as he turns and exit’s the dressing room. Alexis watches him leave with a satisfied look on her face. She then takes a seat down on the couch in her dressing room and flips on the TV. As soon as Alexis gets comfortable, there is a knock on the door. Alexis sighs and rolls her eyes as she grabs the remote and turns the TV off. She then slowly rises from the couch and makes her way over to the door and opens it to find her assistant Jessica at the door. Alexis steps aside and watches with annoyance as Jessica slowly and nervously enters the room. Alexis closes the door and takes a seat back on the couch as she looks at Jessica with her eyebrow raised.
“Question… Why is it that you’re barely getting here right now? I was under the impression that you would already be here waiting for me.”
Jessica-”I’m so sorry Alexis, I know I was supposed to be here like twenty minutes ago but the traffic was a lot worse than I had anticipated-”
“And that’s my problem?”
Jessica-”No of course not but I really tried to-”
“Shhh! Just shut up for a second will ya? So far today I’ve already fired one worthless employee of mine and I’m starting to think that sending one more to the unemployment line isn’t such a bad idea…”
Jessica’s eyes widen as a worried look appears on her face.
Jessica-”Please don’t fire me! I swear I’ll try harder!”
“You had better try a hell of a lot harder. In case you haven’t noticed I’m a little on the impatient side and so far you haven’t been performing up to par which is a problem for me.”
Jessica-”I’m so sorry-”
Alexis waves her hand dismissively.
“Whatever, just don’t screw up again.”
“I won’t.”
“Well now that that’s taken care of, I have something else I need to discuss with you.”
Jessica-”Okay…”
“Remember when I asked you to set up that big sit down interview for me? I want you to go ahead and cancel that for now.”
Jessica-”Really? But I had that set up to take place in less than an hour from now.”
“I know but I decided I didn’t really feel up to sitting here and chatting with some random DUW interviewer when I could just go out to the ring and address all my issues there.”
Jessica-”Okay, if that’s what you want Lexie than I’ll cancel it for you.”
“Thanks, it’s good to know you’re not entirely useless.”
Alexis rises up from the couch and walks towards the door.
Jessica-”Where are you going?”
“To take care of business.”
Alexis opens the door and exits her dressing room as her assistant watches her go. After making her way through the hallways and around the backstage area, Alexis finally reaches the curtain area leading out to the stage. She waits for some random crew members to initiate her lighting sequence and get everything ready for her. After a few seconds “Feedback” by Janet Jackson begins to play loudly through the arena and the fans rise to their feet as Alexis finally steps out onto the stage. Alexis takes a moment to survey the audience as they watch her curiously before slowly beginning her trip down to the ring. A few fans to the side of the ramp extend their hands out for a high five as Alexis approaches them. She looks at their hands and begins to reach towards them as if to return the gesture but before contact can be made she runs her hand through her hair. This action causes the fans to boo as Alexis laughs and proceeds to walk up the ring steps and enter above the middle rope. She smirks as she is handed a microphone from someone at ringside and her music comes to an end. She slowly raises the microphone to her lips as the fans continue to boo loudly.
“Whoa you rednecks are a little on the loud side, think you all could just shut up for a minute? Seriously I can barely hear myself over you. I would really appreciate it, besides what I have to say is a million times more important than anything that could ever come out of your mouths.”
Alexis shakes her head in disapproval of the fans rowdiness.
“You know what? I can’t believe you’re being so disrespectful. Is that any way to treat the future Universal Champion? I honestly that you all would be eager to hear what I have to say. After all, it’s not everyday trailer trash like all of you DUW fans are given the privilege of being in the presence of someone as beautiful and talented as me. But you know what? That’s totally fine. You idiots can boo as much and as loud as you want, truth be told I actually kind of admire your enthusiasm. I mean this is the first time I’ve ever been surrounded by a horde of screaming hillbillies, it kind of makes me feel like I’m at Nascar race or cheap county fair or something. We don’t have your kind of people where I come from so this is a brand new experience for me.”
The fans continue to show their dislike of Alexis by shouting out various obscenities at her and a few people in the crowd even react by tossing some half-empty beer cans at her. Alexis dodges the trash being flung at her and glares at the audience in disbelief.
“Okay you’ve made your point, you all don’t care for me much do you? Well that’s too damn bad because I’m not going anywhere. After I beat that loser Iceman last week I took another step towards winning that Universal Championship by advancing in the tournament. Speaking of which, I still can’t believe some people were actually doubtful of me and my abilities. I mean Iceman would not shut up about how badly he was going to maim and batter me in our match. He was sincerely delusional enough to believe that he could defeat me. But by underestimating me the way he did he ended up costing himself an amazing opportunity which I now have the chance to take full advantage of. He’s stuck in some lame battle royal with all the other losers who couldn’t advance in the tournament through one on one matches. So best of luck to him, I think he’s going to need it. Hopefully he and all the others learned a valuable lesson which is not to count out a tenacious woman such as myself because in the end she usually has the most to prove. I knew people were already going to be looking down at me because of my social status and my gender. A wrestling ring is the last place one would expect to see a rich beautiful girl from California but yet for some reason I’ve decided that this is where I belong. So because of that I feel like I have the most to overcome which so far I have.”
Alexis begins to pace around the ring as a smile forms on her face.
“My victory over Iceman last week wasn’t a fluke and for the record I had nothing to do with my assistant Jake bringing Kiki down to ringside. They were just excited to see me wrestle, I’m sure they didn’t have any intention of distracting Iceman. They were just there to admire me. But I warned my assistants to keep their distance during my matches to avoid distracting or being hurt by my opponents and they have agreed. So this week when I take on Karnage I will be completely alone. Speaking of Karnage, has anyone ever seen this guy before? When I saw the card and saw that I was facing him I tried to remember who he was but my mind went completely blank. For some reason he has chosen not to show his face in the ring which makes me wonder how he’s even in this tournament at all. But oh well, I don’t need to know anything about him to know that I’m going to beat him. If he’s actually brave enough to show his face I’m going to get the win over him just like I did over Iceman. Then I’ll be another step closer to having that Universal title belt around my waist and everyone can finally see me for the champion that I truly am.”
Alexis tosses the microphone to the ring announcer as her music plays again and she makes her exit from the ring.
